**The Invisible Weight We Carry 🧠💭**

There’s a burden many of us carry that has no shape, no sound, no clear form—and yet it is *exhausting*. It’s called the **mental load**.

It’s that ever-spinning to-do list in your mind: the dentist appointment that needs booking, the groceries that are running low, the birthday card you *meant* to send last week. It's the constant project management of life, mostly silent, mostly unseen.

And here's the kicker—it eats up your **cognitive space**, leaving little room for peace, presence, intimacy, or rest.

Now, here's what the research tells us—and this part might sting: even in families where both partners work full-time, women disproportionately carry this load. Not because they *want* to. But because our systems and stories have long assumed they *should*.

Friends, this isn't just about task lists. It's about naming the invisible, honoring the work no one sees, and finding a path toward mutuality, empathy, and rest.

👉 What’s one piece of your mental load you could speak aloud today?
👉 What would it look like to carry it together?

🤔 Did you know each of us has a default stance we slip into when conflict hits?

Conflict in relationships is inevitable, but understanding your partner's default stance can change the way you fight (and repair)!

In this clip, I break down how our Enneagram type shapes our knee-jerk response in tense moments:

Some of us withdraw.

Some become overly accommodating.

Others double down and push harder.

👉 The kicker? These responses often aren’t conscious. They're learned strategies to manage discomfort, and they all make sense when you understand the story behind them.
