This is 42. Thanking God for another trip around the sun. Especially after a rough start to the year…

I was diagnosed with Stage 0 Cervical Cancer (Carcinoma In SITU) early this year. I had surgery to have the cells removed and biopsied to make sure the cells didn’t spread. My margins were clear and healing went smooth.

It took some time to get myself back into a good mental space. But to God be the glory, I am doing so much better. I started a new job as a Caseworker this Summer. I’m loving it so far and catching on quickly. It’s only up from here.

I know I’ve been MIA but I’m working on finding balance with the new job, and prioritizing my mental health. You’ll see a little bit more of me in time. But I’ll be easing back in while continuing to put myself first

It’s officially pool season and this is how I’m going to be sitting by the pool alllll Summer!!!

I had to put traveling on hold after quitting my job and moving to a new city- to allow myself time to get settled. But I’m so happy that I have every day access to a pool, right in my apartment community. It’ll do until I can get back on a proper beach 😌
