Family Christmas Card photos! I’ve been trying to do something Christmas-y every weekend to celebrate with baby. We started with Christmas photos and tree shopping the weekend after thanksgiving. Then we did tamales the next weekend. This weekend we met Santa! Next weekend is cookies and then it’s Christmas time.

I’m missing a lot of my family these days thinking of old traditions I want to keep alive. Mentally the holidays are a pretty bad time for me, but having a baby has put a new perspective on it. I’m trying my hardest to make it a positive new chapter for her. So if you are also like me where the holidays are filled with mixed emotions, know you aren’t alone. ❤️

How I look 90% of the day/time. My baby is obsessed with contact naps and snuggling during the day. So I spend my day in wraps. I now have 3 of them 🙃🙃 but at least I can wash them when I need to

7 weeks postpartum life update.

Little lady is growing super fast, and we are getting in a little routine. It’s still very random but it’s slowly taking shape. That means a little 😴

I got fully cleared by the doctor post my c-section. Infection is all gone, and I can slowly resume working out and such. Since I was on doctors orders to take it easy from week 20 onwards, I haven’t been able to be very active since like… March. 🙃 so it’s going to take a while for me to get back into it. I’m very lucky to have off of work until November, so I have time to adjust to this new lifestyle and little lady doesn’t need to rush to a daycare. ❤️

Random aside: it’s National breastfeeding week! So I am going to share some stuff via stories about why this week is important for women/moms trying to go back to work. Cause let’s be real- in this economy stay at home parents are a luxury.

4 weeks postpartum. 🥰 I have a minor infection in my c-section incision which has me on antibiotics but beyond that I’m doing fine. Little lady is also doing great!

My days feel a little like groundhogs day as I cannot really leave the house too much. But the days are also wonderful snuggling with my newborn all day. She is growing so fast! 🥺

Fyi: I don’t plan on posting much of her here for her own privacy. She cannot consent to being on the internet for a long time, so I’m focusing on me and my life adjustments with her in it. ❤️❤️

2 weeks postpartum today. I wanted to post a realistic update to what I look like for both myself and anyone else having a baby. It’s not a ton of time, but I feel like I look like I did about 3-4 months pregnant. Which I’m pretty happy about TBH.

For anyone wondering, I’m still recovering from my c-section so no exercise is allowed. Only going for walks with little lady. ❤️

And we are home. Celebrating and was a magical and wonderful time. So wholesome and fun! Thank you and crew for taking care of me and making sure I was safe while waddling around Vegas. Now to nap for the weekend to rest.

Baby road trips to Vegas day 1! After a drive, first day in Vegas was super fun. Waddling through the casinos is kind of funny though. We had Nobu for dinner and then explored for a bit. ❤️❤️❤️ my feet are already tired but that’s how it is now
