While you wait for our next episode to, "drop", here is a "Pro" tip for you Costco shoppers.

The bottle on the right is Costco's house brand 12 year blended Scotch which is similar in quality, perhaps even "smoother", to Chivas Regal 12 or Johnnie Walker Black but of course, cheaper!

The Problem (without Jon Stewart) with this is that it comes in a cartoonishly-large 1.75 liter bottle that is awkward to pour from and hard to fit on your average Ikea shelf.

SO, I just decant (whisky snob voice) this into an empty Black Label 1.75 "handle" (it even has a HANDLE!) and it's now there for my pouring convenience. Bonus Feature: if any guests were to have a pour from this, they'd likely not guess they were drinking the cheap stuff.

Yes, that is what we're doing instead of releasing another episode, for those who are curious. Apologies for all the quotation marks.

We've also set up a page with a "leave a tip" (and no, that isn't a tip as in, "do a better edit") option that is a one-time thing.

We do this little project for fun but there are some costs involved such as hosting. I (John) don't love subscriptions and really hate ads so I personally like this option. In any case, we aren't going to go on about this very much unless we decide to hold a Jerry Lewis-style telethon...then, all bets are off!
