As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Germany during the rise of Adolf Hi**er and N**i power, 16-year-old Helmuth Hübener faithfully passed the sacrament and served in his branch by day and led a teenage, N**i-resistance by night.

“Truth & Conviction,” directed and co-written by Matt Whitaker, will capture one of the most powerful stories to come out of WWII.

Together, Matt and Still Rowing host Kim Stratford Gale discuss Matt’s inspired resolve and sacrifice to share Helmuth’s story and its application for us today. “Anchors of Faith:The Light of Christ” - Bill Fleming and hosted by Amy Kauer

Bill Fleming is a life-long, active member of the Church. He grew up in Rochester MN in the 1950s and 60s attending the only branch there at the time. He served in the France Paris Mission from 1972 to 1974 then received a bachelor's degree from BYU in 1977 (where he met his wife Shauna) and a master's degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 1979. He retired from his career as a small business owner in Minnesota in December 2020.

Bill and Shauna have 7 children and 12 grandchildren. While raising their children, they lived and served in wards and stakes in Illinois, California, Georgia and Minnesota. They now live in NW Arkansas close to two of their children and 6 of their grandchildren, anxiously awaiting the opening of the Bentonville AR temple.

In Still Rowing Episode 52, host Tara McCausland speaks with Dr. Lili Anderson - author, practicing clinical social worker and former BYU professor in the School of Family Life - about important principles that can help our children succeed and get "far enough in" to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Anderson also explains the difference between agency and freedom and our responsibility as parents to set and expect the Gospel standard. Finally, they discuss God's generous Plan for all His children, developing confidence in our covenants, and learning to trust God with our children - wherever they may currently be on the covenant path.

EmRee Moncur Pugmire grew up on a farm in Lovell, Wyoming where she is the eldest of 6 red-headed children. She attended Brigham Young University where she received a bachelor's in Family Sciences and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is married to Jeff Pugmire of Seattle Washington. They are the parents of five children. Currently, she lives in Saratoga Springs, UT but her children would call Apple Valley MN home. The family has also loved their experiences living in Sandy UT, Lovell WY, and Edwards CO. She served as a full-time missionary in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh Mission. EmRee is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and currently sees patients from Minnesota and Utah. She has been a faculty member for BYU Education Week, a Children's Ski instructor at Beaver Creek CO, opened a dance studio, a home decor boutique, and formed a nonprofit corporation, The Hyart Theatre. Currently her hobby is learning about the physical body.

She loves to spend time with her family, especially her husband. After more then two decades of marriage, they still enjoy regular dates and holding hands as they go for walks together.

We are SO EXCITED to announce the merger of a beautiful relationship. The Still Rowing Podcast is now a Hi Five Live Podcast!!

This was originally started by the AMAZING Tara Croshaw McCausland and has been going for a few years now. She handed over the reigns to the very talented and capable Kimberly Stratford Gale and added another host, Amy Kauer. Now they’re jumping on board with us. They’ll be your hosts for the podcasts Season IV and our first season together. It’s the PERFECT PAIRING, as each episode ordinary people share their extraordinary experiences as to why the chosen to stay in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This series will be posted every Monday morning at 10AM MDT. We hope you’ll join us.
