This was one of many beautiful (but unfortunately over slot) fish that were caught and safely released during the 6th Annual Rockfish Invitational this past weekend! My girls and I had an amazing time fishing and were honored to be a part of an incredible tournament! This tournament holds a special place in my heart as a local and the fact that we made history being the FIRST and ONLY all-female team to compete just made it that much more special. Huge shout out to for making us some incredible eel rigs and jig heads that were such a vital part of this competition, for always being supportive and contributing some more amazing tackle for us to use, for supporting our team and sending us lures, merch, stickers and more, for always being a ride or die and hooking us up with NLBN jigs and paddle tails (they are a local distributor for NLBN products, so my local Pasadena, MD peeps check them out!) and for making the most incredible custom rods for all our team members over the years and all their continued support of us ladies and what we do!

Work hard, play harder…I have some badass friends! Tiki Lee's Dock Bar hosted one hell of a tournament this year! We had a blast, overcame challenges, caught some beautiful fish and most of all, worked together as a team! WOW what an amazing experience! We just spent the last two days grinding on the water for the 6th Annual Rockfish Open. Day 1 we weighed in four Rockfish that put us in a pretty good place on the board. Day 2 was a tough bite and the majority of the fish we landed were over slot. We weighed in one solid rock at 24” but it wasn’t enough to place us in the winnings. There was a catfish Calcutta and we did get ourselves a big ol blue cat that we were hoping would win us that side bet! The heaviest catfish was at 27lbs and unfortunately ours weighed in at 26. That was definitely a disappointment, but overall we know we gave it our best and we’re looking forward to coming back next year! No matter what us ladies have an amazing team and because of that we’re already winning everyday 💯 How incredible that we made history as the first ever all ladies team to compete in this tournament! Thanks everyone for your support and keep following for highlights from the tournament!

And these were just the ones small enough to get pictures on the boat 😝. First sturgeon fishing adventure, and it was incredible! Stunning views, long fights, calling 6-7’ fish “babies”, and a brief reprieve from the Maryland heat and humidity…overall I’d say our trip to the Pacific Northwest did NOT disappoint!
