A picture can say a lot. But sometimes, the story behind it depends on the person looking at it.

Pic A Tale is a 3-day online writing event where you take one picture and build on it step by step starting with a catchy headline and one-liner, then turning it into a microstory, and finally shaping it into a complete piece.

It’s not about writing perfectly. It’s about noticing, imagining, and telling a story in your own way.

So pick a picture, find your angle, and let your words do the rest.

Violence does not begin with weapons.
It begins in the quiet decay of grief left unattended long enough to harden into rage.
And when that grief finds language in religion,nationalism or superiority, hatred disguises itself as righteousness.
This is the real tragedy behind Hey Ram.
Not the assassination.
Not the riots.
But the psychological collapse of an ordinary man trying to give meaning to his suffering.
Because the most dangerous hatred is not born in monsters, but in ordinary people whose grief was never given a place to die.
