Luigi Mangione was born and raised in Maryland and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He was arrested in Altoona today.
Police say he had a “ghost gun” when arrested. They also say Mangione had a document that suggested he had “ill will toward corporate America.” Police also say they found a gun silencer and fake IDs on the suspect.
UPDATE: Police in Altoona have issued this statement about a man being questioned about the United HealthCare CEO murder in NY. The man has been arrested on unrelated charges:
