I been slackin on dropping these gems. So here are more lessons learned while existing as myself for the past 39 years.⁠

21. You get what you pay for: There’s usually a reason quality comes with a cost., if it's TOO CHEAP up front, you'll probably pay more in the long run.

22. Listen to your body⁠ and give it what it needs, when it needs it.
⁠
23. Culture is King and WOMEN carry the culture.⁠
⁠
24. Be wary of anyone who is overly enthusiastic and/or seemingly happy all the time. Something isn’t right there.⁠
⁠
25. Forgive but Remember — forgiveness means gaining the peace you deserve and remembering keeps you from getting played a second time.⁠
⁠
26. Celebrate the little things. When you’re on your way to meeting your goals, it’s good to stop and congratulate yourself for even the little accomplishments.⁠
⁠
27. Everything has come to an end – this is the law of nature. The idea of immortality is impractical. The sooner we accept that the sooner we can get on with LIVING! ⁠

28. YOU NEED A MENTOR. Go Get One!⁠

29. Learn to appreciate what you have. Gratitude opens doors that might otherwise remain closed to you. ⁠

I have to commend that level of self-preservation to be quite honest.

It''s the International Day of Rabs—39 years of being a bad bish.

In honor of my 39th birthday, I'm sharing 39 things I've learned on this journey called life. Scroll back for the first five .

6. Stand up for yourself, don’t be a doormat.

7. People come into your life for a reason, some stay, some go, and some you need to get rid of. Figure out who's who and proceed accordingly.

8. Loving yourself is more important than loving someone else. Take time to know yourself..figure out what you love and what makes you happy before you can think about doing it for someone else.

9. RAKs (Random Acts of Kindness) are good for your soul. Like the homie always tells me: You can be right...or you can be kind. I'd add to that and say sometimes you can be both.

10. Take criticism graciously and learn from it. It's not personal, and most times critiques (even ones that feel harsh) are a reflection of people's belief in your ability to produce at a high level. Rise to the occasion.

Also too as well...Happy Easter. He is Risen.
