PARENTS WITH GREAT FAMILY VALUES
Do you want to get involved in a fun and challenging project for British television? Can you give two British teenagers the chance to have some much-needed structure in their lives? Following the huge success of the first three series, the BBC is looking for role model families to take part in a fourth series of the factual entertainment programme on parenting. I
n each one-hour programme, two British teenagers will be sent to live with a family abroad, to experience life in their country under their rules. In the last series, the BBC sent overindulged teenagers from the UK to live with families over the world, from Jamaica to India, Alabama to South Africa to sample a disciplined, yet loving upbringings. This season we’re looking for American parents who have a disability and whose kids are 13-19 years old. We need parents who are proud of their strong parenting and family values and who would be willing to accommodate two British teenagers for one week and instil in them the values and morality they demand of their own children. The British teens are expected to attend school, complete homework and help with household chores; they are not guests in the house but new members of the family. We want to showcase a great, loving, tight knit family who believe in boundaries, bringing out the best in their kids and who we think genuinely can teach our U.K. Our film will focus on what our chosen parents are able to do (be great parents) rather than what they are not able to do. If you interested or just want more info about the series.
