WI Music Buzz
The WI Music Buzz was created in 2018 to connect local independent music fans with the best artists making original music in Wisconsin.
The first episode aired June 4, 2018 with Fox Valley artist Derek Holley as the guest.
A new episode is comes out every Tuesday and is available on iTunes, Stitcher, Soundcloud, Google Play, RockOnMilwaukee.com, and at WIMusicBuzz.com. Shows consists of interviews with an artist and includes a sampling of their music.
On March 21, 2019, the board of directors for 101.9 FM, WOCT in Oshkosh, approved the show to air on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. The first show aired on Wednesday, April 3, with Fox Valley artist and winner of the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Songwriter of the Year Award, Christopher Gold, as guest.
