Had a great ride tonight it was the first time in about 6 years had been back in the saddle of land cycle and on the road, got to ride with new friends or friends and friends that are more like family all right those people decide which category they fall under. Now it's time to rack stack and reload and take tomorrow off because somebody let it slip that Wednesday and Thursday's workouts are you going to push me to my limit and I'm ready for it!

2 years ago today I did something some people thought I would never do p*e and that's start a job. I pulled on them purple uniform for the first time. 2 years later I'm wearing yellow and still finding out new ways to change people's lives everyday

The first picture is yet another blast from the past that summer was one of the darkest I ever had but also one of the greatest. I don't even recognize the guy in the first picture anymore but without that guy I wouldn't be the man I am today that first summer gave me an extra layer of family when I needed it when my family was in chaos my theater family pick me up and even though we're not together anymore that family still does when I need them to even from worlds away we still have each other's backs

I don't know what the big thing is but I can feel something coming and I'm glad that I can literally wear my face on my sleeve as I prepare for whatever that next chapter is.

So a couple weeks ago I ordered some new workout gear from and it came today. As I pray about what the next chapter of my life might bring I am super excited to be wearing this new stuff, and that two things that are very important to me can now intersect. And that I know have yet another tool to share my faith as I share fitness with people around me

Things are really starting to click at work and I'm trying to be content where I am. But a friend and someone who's really become a mentor since I started my journey into criminal justice gave me some great advice today. He said don't get too comfortable because then you won't go after then goal. I thought about that all day and by the end of my shift I'd come to a conclusion that's why I carry my unit coins from law enforcement friends including that guy who gave me the advice, and where the dog tags given to me by an army r o t c unit that I did race with back in the day. As a reminder of how bad I want to serve and protect those around me and then country where I was born, because honestly if I was born anywhere else the disability I would not have the opportunity that I have had around my life

I got a reminder I'm just now the hard work in the gym is paying off today. This is this past year's camp t-shirt, when I got it the sleeves were loose and put it on this morning after not wearing it for a couple months and their sleeves are now tight to my biceps. The hard work is paying off

So this weekend work with a pretty long one we're dealing with staffing issues so those of us who are still around or working a lot of hours. I don't do my job for the pets on the back but this week I got some pretty funny ones on Tuesday a member brought me coffee after asking me last week if I like coffee.
