For almost two decades, the project has established itself as a permanent fixture in the electronic music scene. It manifests an indomitable, uncompromising passion for transcendent, multidimensional music, which is channeled through his unmistakable “pitch black techno war funk” as a foundation.

Firmly entrenched in the conviction that new things are created by tearing down walls, his DJ sets and live performances are a constant anti-conservative renewal - but resolutely without any pandering to fashionable trends.

Ancient Methods’ numerous remixes and similar the collaborations with .dns , and Cindytalk also reflect his shifts between different sonic dimensions without softening his defining musical signature. We are incredibly excited to announce that we added the LIVE project Unhuman + Petra Flurr to our global bookings!

& .flurr is the collaborative synthpunk-technoid project of BITE label stalwart artist, Unhuman, and legendary q***r wave figure, Petra Flurr.
Using heavy rhythms, wavy melodies, an androgynous aesthetic, and undeniable sexuality, Unhuman & Petra Flurr introduce us to their unique brand of q***r death techno.

Unhuman is a Berlin-based electronic project created by Manos Simotas, who also founded Liber Null Berlin. This project is a conceptual event that combines arts and serves as a label. His experimental and dark electronic music has evolved from post-punk roots and has developed a unique voice, and his performances have taken place in major clubs in Berlin, Europe, Asia, and South America.

Petra Flurr is known for their intense live shows and their driving electro-punk sound. They are recognized for challenging social tensions and control.
Their collaborations with artists like Modernista from Bogota have solidified their reputation as innovator in the underground music scene.

Second Tension LIVE x KAOS London

We are over the moon to invite Second Tension to play live at the first KAOS showcase at the new Astron this Saturday 20th July, with air-con and Funktion-One installed.

Second Tension is a project of the Greek artist Stavros Tilkeridis. The story began in the in the early 90's when Stavros started to make tape loops in a similar way to Pierre Schaffer, a few years later he acquired his first sampler, an mpc 2000xl and began experimenting with different sonics. In the early 2000s, he was introduced to rave culture. In 2016, he initiated the project Second Tension as an ongoing attempt to capture a progressive perspective in electronic music, combining primitive with industrial aesthetics. He has released two EPs and one album on Persephonic Sirens, and various tracks on other labels including OSM Tapes, Clan Destine and Monolith.

Manos Simotas is the mastermind behind Unhuman and the label Liber Null Berlin. He began his musical journey in 2012, delving into noise and industrial music. Over time, he explored various genres such as power electronics, dark ambient, and experimental electronic music before ultimately finding his unique voice in techno.

Unhuman's journey began in Athens in 2012 with the release of his first tape, "Emperor Black." Since then, he has evolved and released music on notable labels, including BITE, L.I.E.S. Records, Instruments Of Discipline, Veleno Viola, Amok Tapes, and Leyla Records.

Not only a DJ, Unhuman is also a sound engineer, producer, and instrumentalist, showcasing his diverse skill set in music. He has been involved in various side projects and collaborations, such as working with An-I, resulting in an EP on L.I.E.S. Records. He is a co-founder of the band Nostromo with EBM artist Sarin and the duo Aktion Mutante with Violet Poison, releasing an LP on She Lost Kontrol Records. His current active project is with the q***r activist performer Petra Flurr, with whom he has released two 12” LPs, the latest on Bite Records, and embarked on worldwide tours.

Unhuman has artist residencies at Volnost in Seoul, South Korea, Olam in Bratislava, and KHIDI, the renowned techno club in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is also a regular performer at major clubs in Berlin, including DJ sets at Berghain for the BITE Records showcases, and has toured across Europe, Asia, and South America.
