For instance: The track "Limbo Dweller" is "a fantastic piece of experimental weird transcendental trippy futuristic PSYCH, deeply electronically-effected as loads of electric guitars processed through modular synth effects, with a Middle Eastern touch and some really eerie orchestration, love it!"

And of course we couldn't agree more with the closing sentiment: "one of the best releases of 2024. Go grab the LP album, now!"

Got a heads-up here: Our old friend Steve Palmer has a cracking new LP with his band Cassini just released by the fine Echodelick Records label... Vinyl copies appear to be limited, so interested parties might want to jump on board before they fly out of range... (And, also worth noting that copies of Steve's excellent LP "Useful Histories" are still available from us at DWA/ Ocean Bender, it's definitely a spiritual forebear to this new one...)

Now here's a nice treat to start the week - a remixed version of the opening track from the new E GONE LP "Adventures Before the Body," recreated by Mr. Westerlund himself (under one of his other musical guises, H​ö​kar​ä​ngen Sound System) in an electro stylee (as the Bandcamp listing says, "more of a reinterpretation than a remix"), making it effectively a new "bonus track" for the album... Sounds like there may be more of this to come too, which would be a fine thing, so point some encouragement in the man's direction... (Also, LP still available from DWA/ Ocean Bender/ Fuzz/ TUBE RECORDS, and still getting better with every spin...)

now officially released into the wild! Elkhorn is sold out here, but E GONE LPs are still available from Sunrise Ocean Bender stores (Bandcamp and Big Cartel), and Feeding Tube will have copies of both via Forced Exposure in the US as well. Digital-only versions available directly from the artists.

Hard to put into words how meaningful these albums are -psyched to have them out in the world, but also bittersweet given the background, since Kevin McFadin isn't with us to enjoy them as deserving capstones to his Sunrise Ocean Bender label.
