Give it up for the fellas! Mid-west Men’s Fashion week was held at Audi Shawnee Mission for its second consecutive year and this venue truly never gets old. From the vision and hard work of Christian Micheal and team, Runway Review a Christian Micheal fashion experience put on yet another display of fashion that encourages you to think outside of the box. Congratulations to all the designers for the hard work and creativity you showed case this season! Thank you for having me Runway Review it’s always a blast!
It was a delight and an honor to attend the grand opening of the Zhou B Art Center in the iconic 18th & Vine district, the latest concept from world-renowned creatives (and brothers) Shanzuo and Dahuang Zhoushi. Renovated and built out in the historic Crispus Attucks School, one of the first schools in KC built to educate and serve the African American community in 1905, the Zhou B Art Center is an ambitious and exciting concept setting out to showcase, amplify and support artists from across all mediums and expressions. This hub of resources and facilitation is made up of 45 art studios, multiple galleries and event spaces, an auditorium and stage, a retail space and lounge, and more.The night was full of color, culture, and some famous faces. It was so exciting to see KC being invested in as a hub for present and future artists. There’s so much talent and potential here, and with places like the Zhou B Art Center they have every reason to thrive and bloom.Thank you so much for having me Zhou B Art Center and introducing me to such a special place in KC!
The iconic The Venetian Resort Las Vegas was an amazing home away from home for my very first stay in Las Vegas. I loved experiencing the charm of Venice, where gondolas glide through canals and the vibrant nightlife never ends, all within walking distance from my suite.With a king-sized bed, plenty of room to set up a work space, a vanity with perfect lighting (the girlies will relate), clean and spacious with a great view—the suite was the definitely the right option for my needs this trip. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of Venetian romance but with all the Vegas energy, this is definitely your choice!
o’Bettahs Overland Park, KS 🌺 Last night I was invited to come try the menu at the new Mo’Bettahs in Overland Park.You know when you have a bite of something so good, you have to slow down to savor every moment? Well this is IT. Come because you're hungry, stay because you don’t want it to end.The Menu is laid out to build your own Plate Lunch, a staple of Hawaiian food you can find near (or on) any beach on the islands. Regarded as a descendant of the bento box in Japanese cuisine, it's the same idea but without the neatly divided sections. All the elements touching and getting cozy together is the whole idea of a Plate Lunch.First you choose your size of plate (Mini, Regular, or Ekolu “Da Big Boy”), then you choose your choices of meats (2 for Mini and Regular, 3 for Ekolu). The plate also comes with rice, macaroni salad and slaw (rice can be swapped out for salad). I got the mini with Teriyaki Chicken and Pulehu Chicken. The Mini plate was more than enough food and the perfect serving for a satisfying meal — all for $9.59! This is a new concept for OP and a fantastic offering to spice up the array of burger and sandwich joints in town.
