Hello all you lovely filmmakers.

With little over a week to go our shoot could do with a little help.

The Competent Detective Squad, a short comedy, is being shot in the Stirling area on Saturday the 14th of October. and we’re looking for a couple of runners and someone who is competent in the lighting department.

Producer: "What we need is an older wiser more experienced [insert your name here].

Middle Aged. Fairly successful.
Producer: "What we need is a cheaper [insert same name here].

Mature, older, wiser. Successful.
Producer: "What we need is a younger [insert same name here].

Edge of the World Films are now looking to fill some crew positions for a future shoot (around September/October 2023 - in West Lothian area), I have a a lot of equipment in all departments, but if you prefer to work with your own stuff, that’s good too.

Makeup; (must be good with open wounds, clown makeup, false beards and wigs - basically making males into females and females into males, if that makes any sense); AD; Continuity; Props Master; Camera; Lighting; Production Assistants.
You must know your way around a set and be willing to pitch in where needed as this is going to be a very small team.

The project is a two hander, ten minute, short film destined for the comedy festival market. It’s a comedy about an inept detective sergeant police officer looking for clues at a murder scene only to be shown the true nature of the crime by his DCI and that his clues have nothing to do with the murder whatsoever, oh and there is a comedic twist. Script on request.

An update on changing our episode launch day and time. After careful consideration, and listening to the people that listen to the podcast, we've decided to change from a Thursday 1pm to a Saturday 1pm. So the episode 3 will be aired on Saturday 18th @ 1pm.
