Ariel's Studio is an in home music studio that offers private lessons, music classes for small children, and more! The studio is just starting in August of 2017 and we're excited to be able to offer these opportunities for parents and their children. sic. She taught K-8 music for 8 years before having her baby girl in 2016. She directs the local Barbershop Harmony Society chorus, the Tippecanotes. She was certified in the Feierabend Technique of teaching young children music in 2015. She's truly enjoying being home with her young one and teaching small classes and private lessons from her home.

About Ariel and the Studio

I'm Ariel Cudworth, the founder and owner of Ariel's Studio. I grew up in Hammond, IN, and went to Indiana State University, where I acquired my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. I am licensed to teach K-12 General, Instrumental and Choral Music. I have been in Lafayette since 2008, when I moved here for my first teaching job. I taught K-8 music for 8 years before having my baby girl in the summer of 2016. I have also been the director of the local Barbershop Harmony Society chorus, the Tippecanotes, since 2010. During my free time I teach Zumba and fitness classes at a local gym. I was certified in the Feierabend technique of teaching young children music in 2015. I truly enjoy being home with my young one and teaching small classes and private lessons from home.

Ariel's Studio is an in home music education studio that offers classes for kids and private lessons! I began the Studio in August of 2017 and am excited to be able to offer these opportunities for parents and their children. As the teacher, I have a passion for teaching children the joys of music and using music to create long lasting bonds within families.

The Studio’s main focus is with children from 6 months to 6 years of age. The curriculum for these classes uses folk repertoire that inspires wonder, is interesting, and teaches fundamentals of musicality. The goal of this program is not to create musicians, but to allow children to become more Tuneful, Artful, and Beatful. The research based program was developed by John Feierabend.
