Calling all artists!🎨 🎨 🎨

ADOT is challenging kids of all ages to grab their art supplies and create colorful reminders for everyone to keep Arizona and its highways litter-free. Color, doodle or paint the Keep it Grand logo on a medium of your choice -- paper, canvas, sidewalk, etc. -- and show us what a litter-free Arizona means to you.

Here are some important dates to add to your calendar!

It is IMPERATIVE that you take just a few minutes to complete the returning student registration each year. This process enables you to ensure the accuracy of your email addresses and phone numbers in PowerSchool.

❗️❗️We use this information to contact you via email and text messaging regarding emergencies as well as other important information. If you do not have accurate contact information in PowerSchool, we will NOT be able to contact you in the case of an emergency at your child's school. ❗️❗️

We will be conducting our first test of our systems for this school year on AUGUST 1, 2024.

This baby bobcat is at the wrong school! He should be at Cienega with the rest of the bobcats 😆

Each summer, Empire High School has baby bobcats on campus when it's nice and quiet. There are three babies roaming the campus right now.

Don't worry they'll be gone when students are back.

Thank you to Angie Magnuson for this awesome picture!

Please join us in welcoming Sarah Bates as our new director of Vail Community Programs!

Sarah is a homegrown Tucsonan. As a military kid, she learned grit, hard work, and how to build a strong, supportive community to find success.

Sarah began her teaching career in VUSD before becoming the principal of Ocotillo Ridge. She then became the principal of Cottonwood. Within her first year of serving as principal, Cottonwood increased its state ranking from 499th to 14th, from a B rating to an A rating!

Sarah is excited to take on the new and exciting challenge of leading Community Programs, which hosts highly rated Toddler, Preschool, Prekindergarten, and Out-of-School Time Care within our community.

When asked how she manages to do it all—40 under 40 award recipient, PBIS Coach, and leader of an A+-rated school… the first thing she will say is, “We have an incredible team.”
