Back in 1998, Zach Joiner's father created a homepage for his son so when he logged onto the internet (Back in days of Dial-Up and Homepages) he would see Spider-Man. Upon asking if others could see it, his father found a free hosting page called XOOM and thus Spideydude's Spider-Man Page was born. In 2001, the duo bought the Domain Spideydude.com and kept that domain until 2012, where Zach lost t

he domain in a knife fight. (Not really, but that sounds cooler than he let the domain lapse and lost it to some Japaneese company wanting to sell you herbs.) In 2009, Zach teamed up with Joshua Lapin-Bertone to launch the Clone Saga Chronicles Podcast. The Process led to the podcast going on an extended Hiatus while things were worked out. But once all the kinks were worked out, the site has hosted every episode since. Throughout this process Zach and Josh brought in various talent to Podcast with them such as Jason Hendricks, Brandon DiPerno, Donovan Morgan Grant, Gerard Delatour II, Kevin Cushing, Walter Bonham, and Greg Bishansky. All of them have contributed to various episodes, with two groups for two distint eras: Greg, Zach and Gerard for the Modern Scarlet Spider Title, and the group of Zach, Josh, Donovan, and Gerard for the 90s. Looking to expand, Zach approached Greg Bishansky about launching a show devoted to his favorite version of Spider-Man's animated history, THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN Animated Series. After asking if Greg Weisman wanted to be on the show, he offered to contribute every month, and after bringing in Jennifer L Anderson to round out the panel, the SPECTACULAR RADIO was nearly complete. To Balance the Behind the Scenes with the Rabid Fanbase, Greg and Zach recruited Gerard Delatour II and Jesse Garrett to make up the fan panel. The Show Launched in 2014. Mayday Mondays was a concept that was concieved back in 2010 by Zach and Gerard, as the two shared a love of the Tom DeFalco penned SPIDER-GIRL Series. The two brought in Jason Hendricks to help do a Pilot that never saw the light of day. Flash Forward to 2014, and the three reunited to do a second Pilot for the site that will launch in 2014 as well.

Greg Guler returns to discuss transitioning from development artist to the Lead Character Designer of the second season. We also discuss designing various gargoyles, the designs of the London Clan, and more.

We also speak with Greg Weisman, discussing bringing the historical RAF pilot, Douglas Bader into the episode; the achievements of the man as well as his lesser qualities. We talk about the blatant depiction of N***s on the show and why many animated shows are unable to depict them. We also discuss bringing in the character of Griff, his design, and how he became a breakout character who captured the imagination of the fandom.

Candyman actor Tony Todd has died at age 69.

The actor was also known for his roles in the ‘Final Destination’ franchise and ‘The Crow’. R.I.P.
