The Recollective Five friends collaborating and recording across state lines. We discovered a shared love of people, places, and the bonds of community.

The recollective is Jeremy Helton, Whitney Henry-Lester, Chaela Herridge-Meyer, Nina Porzucki, and Carl Scott. Hailing from various corners of the US, we met in 2008 as field producers on the StoryCorps Mobile Tour. Together, we crossed mountains and deserts, mastered hotel room cooking, and recorded thousands (really!) of interviews. More importantly, we developed a deep love and respect for one another. We now work as The Recollective-- collaborating and recording across state lines.
