Al Watan is a daily political, economic and comprehensive newspaper, as well as the highest penetrating local newspaper in Bahrain since its first issued in December the 10th, 2005, according to specialized institutions in newspapers distribution, and after five years it become the first youth newspaper in the Kingdom. he Bahraini readers as regards local, international, economic and sport news. The newspaper has benefited from the comprehensive reform initiative launched by His Majesty the King of Bahrain and the wide scope of freedom of press that are guaranteed by the Constitution and the Law. Believing in the importance of the new media, Al Watan launched in 2010 the online news website ‘Al Watan Live” in order to provide an online news service and allowing more interaction with the readers through receiving and publishing their views and opening doors for civilized national dialogue, either by words and pictures or by any other ways.
