Now that I’ve been back on my Belbuca – my main painkiller – for a while (after having been off of it for days due to running out, and not being able to get a refill in time because of insurance) my pain is back to its usual levels. And the withdrawal symptoms are gone. Which means no more shakes while I’m trying to type.

So…

I’ve looked, and looked for the missing file for Episode 16 of “MoonWraith”. It does appear to be well and truly gone. I have no clue as to how or why it vanished as I was uploading it to Kindle Vella weeks ago. That has never happened before. And for it to disappear from both my laptop AND the Google Drive backup at the same time is really perplexing.

But now that I can actually use a keyboard properly again, it’s time that I rewrite the lost episode. But, before posting it, I plan to write a couple of episodes beyond that to give myself some breathing room. I’ll Episode #16 up ASAP, though.

The best stories take readers on a roller coaster ride of emotions.

What many don't realize is that writing the book does the same for the author.

“When our genes could not store all the information necessary for survival, we slowly invented them. But then the time came, perhaps ten thousand years ago, when we needed to know more than could conveniently be contained in brains. So we learned to stockpile enormous quantities of information outside our bodies. We are the only species on the planet, so far as we know, to have invented a communal memory stored neither in our genes nor in our brains. The warehouse of that memory is called the library. A book is made from a tree. One glance at it and you hear the voice of another person perhaps someone dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, the author is speaking, clearly and silently, inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people, citizens of distant epochs who never knew one another. Books break the shackles of time, proof that humans can work magic.” - Carl Sagan, Cosmos

The webcomic "MoonWraith" had to be stopped due to the creators developing fibromyalgia. It simply became too difficult for them to keep up with the weekly page release deadlines with all of the work involved in creating the webcomic.

However, "MoonWraith" is soon to be revived. It will be in a totally new, and different format. It should work out better for both the creators, and the fans this way.

Please keep watching here for updates. We'll post news as things progress. We truly appreciate each, and every one of you! Thank you all for being with us!

Sasquatch—they live peacefully in the forests, and woodlands. They want little, or nothing, to do with humans, and our civilization. As a whole, sasquatch are tranquil, quiet beings who live harmoniously with nature, and avoid us.

But what happens when humans refuse to return the favor?

Researcher Alexia Hollander is about to find out. When she ventures into the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, seeking evidence of the elusive species, things quickly get out of hand. Another researcher deliberately gets in Alexia’s way. Campers, and hunters bumble in, adding their own disruptive presence to the quiet work that Alexia wants to perform.

With their home territory invaded by humans, a mated pair of sasquatch keep the intruders under close surveillance. They aren’t happy about the presence of the trespassers, and want them gone. Just how far will these normally restrained beings go to protect their family, and themselves? Alexia, and her unwanted companions are about to find out!

Bog skulks are small, mysterious creatures with vicious teeth and claws. They turned up in Quagmire Fen some time ago. No one seems to know what they are or where they came from.

Spencer Foster is a young man who has lived his entire life in the poor backwater of Quagmire Fen. He despises the swamp, and wants only to leave and start a new life in the city with his girlfriend. But his callous drunkard of a father has other ideas.

Very soon, Spencer's life is irrevocably changed. His destiny is now linked to the bog skulks and Quagmire Fen.

What are the bog skulks? Where did they come from? What is the connection between Spencer Foster and the odd beings he's given so little thought to?
