I posted this because I was surprised that it had grown and I'd never planted it.

I posted some photos of my garden a couple of days ago - and have had a lovely response! So many nice comments - thank you - so glad you like it! One lady said she would like to see a photo of the whole garden - but I can't find the comment now! I don't have a photo of the whole thing - it isn't a big garden but it is wide - so difficult to get it all in! Anyway here are a few showing a bit more of the layout (we dug out the lawn and put in winding gravel paths before planting up). The colours change with the time of year ☺️.As you look from the house the slightly raised seating area is in the far right corner and the wisteria seating area is in the far left corner. (That's my son in the first pic btw 😂)

I been given a Belfast sink, any idea what I can use it for.

I need to get my head around something.

Why does everyone put their fences up so they don’t benefit from the ‘nice’ side? 🤔

Everyone has the side showing in their garden that has the supporting struts. The other side is always so much nicer.

I don’t get it. 🤨😄

Or maybe no one’s really thought about it! 😀

(Picture for reference only)

*EDIT - UK:
“The rules are that the fence posts must be on the owners side of the boundary, but there is no law that states the smooth side must face either way. It is entirely their choice which way the fence will face.”

This fence belongs to neighbour who is totally unapproachable. He builds one thing after another without consulting us and this is the nightmare we have to look at every day now. How can we hide it without touching his fence? Our patio is on the ground in front of it.The shed he built is 10 foot high.Any suggestions most welcome!

I know there's haters of fake grass and I get it, but it was free and an easy way to cover the ugly concrete in my yard.

Hello im after some advice, can anyone suggest what we could do with the part in orange, we keep getting people walking on our grass, cutting across to go to neighbours etc, posties, takeaways, delivery drivers. I have 3 trails on my garden now 🤦‍♀️
I mentioned a small picket fence but husband thinks it will be a pain trying to cut the grass etc.
*edit.. Ive put a photo in from yesterday of a delivery driving literally walking across to go go to the neighbours 🤦‍♀️*
Any help would be appreciated 🙌

Hi everyone, please can I have some advice, I would be grateful.
About 8 years ago, I asked my neighbour, if I could put up a fence in the back garden, she asked me why i said for privacy as she has a short picket fence, she said no as she does gardening and needs the sun, so I respected that.
I have someone coming to look at putting up a fence this week as I have to be honest and say I've been at my home for 12 years and have never gone out and sat in the garden I can see 3 lots of neighbours and I don't want to feel like my garden is not just for me. Am I wrong to want to put up a fence and what should I say to her. Thank you.
Thank you for all your comments, I will post the outcome whatever is decided, so thank you, very much appreciated.🙂

Excuse the random bin it flew there cause of the wind…

WOW AMAZING OVER 3000 LOVELY COMMENTS THANK YOU EVERYONE.
Well nearly finished still bit more to do.
But i know a lot people won't agree putting composite on walls but I'm very happy with the outcome. No more painting twice a year.
Lot of amazing comments and lots are asking about the tiles so added a few pictures of them hope you like.
Tiles are from tile mountain and panels are from NW composite decking please tell them I gave you the name as they were so good to me.
And for negative comments please look at the last picture 😂😂

My front garden was rather plain and unused, so i turned it into my little holiday area...I bought a caravan to use as an extra room, did it up inside and decorated the surrounding garden to look like I'm in Greece... its turned an unused area into somewhere I can go every day and enjoy the space....picking up little bits from charity shops and car bootsales and then painting everything to match

Question-why is everyone planting in pots? I live in Ontario, Canada, but notice that in England so many gardens and trees are all planted in pots. I plant everything into the ground so wondering why I see gardens filled with pots. I know it is a personal preference, but just curious. Pic of my former garden.
