Wolf River Music is a small studio located in south Orem and we specialize in singer-songwriter/smaller group projects. Our rates are very affordable.

We can do just about anything and everything here at the studio, recording any manner of digital and/or traditional/analog instruments. We have recorded strings, horns, grand piano, upright piano, bass, guitars, vocals, etc. We even have a Theremin. If you're a beginner, or have a very small budget then we're perfect for your smaller project. Singer-songwriters with just an acoustic guitar or just

vocals and piano are ideal here. An entire symphony, probably not. We're also very well-connected with the music community here in Utah County and we can hook you up with all sorts of people who can record your giant drumkit or your 40-piece orchestra. Recording some Double Bass at the studio today with Angelica Salazar and Seth Dalgleish. Angelica is in the midst of a very ambitious and exciting string ensemble project in three movements, and she chose Wolf River Music to help her do it right. It's an original project that's she's been working on for quite some time now and we're hoping to finish it up over here in the early summer.

So this Laurel Canyon series has been up on our YouTube channel for quite a while now and it has had its brief moments in the sun where it goes up and down and then comes back around again. Just when we think its gone down for the final count one last time, it somehow resurrects itself and just keeps right on chugging along with more views and adding more new subscribers to the channel. And now, for some reason it has just recently gone thru the roof yet again, and in particular this episode (in the comments below so as to not ruin the fragile algorithm) has really taken off. It has become our most "liked" video ever on the channel. If you haven't seen this series yet, then come on over and have a look. The very photogenic and musically talented Ms. Angelica Salazar lent her violin and viola skills to several tracks and songs on our upcoming music album project, being recorded right here in our own home studio Wolf River Music. Look for her to also appear with us in an upcoming music video with (hopefully) a premier in October of this year. P.S. we haven't officially released any new music from memoryfield since the Lost to the Sea album in April of 2021 but we've been hard at work since that time.

Calling on our local singer-songwriters in the Salt Lake City/Provo/Orem/Park City area(s)... Our YouTube channel that is affiliated with both our Wolf River Music Studios and the music of memoryfield has seen a nice little uptick in followers and content views and we're keen to keep it growing at an even faster pace. It's still a small and modest following but seems to be trending upward quite nicely. So, we're willing to knock off 10% of our normal studio recording/mixing hourly rate for anyone who would be willing to have themselves featured in some of our promotional video content on the channel. In other words, book some recording time with us to record your music. We'll pick and choose some discreet moments to film you in your element and doing what you do best and maybe even ask you some interview questions about yourself, your music, your future plans, etc. Our goals are to make you look good, show off your professionalism and at the same time highlight what we're doing over here in the studio. Our Story

Wolf River Music was officially founded in 2011 as the label to release and publish all musical recordings by memoryfield, and to act as the promotions company that represents all musical output by Billy R. Preston and Juliet Gamero as well as any and all other musicians who have chosen to collaborate with memoryfield. To date, Wolf River Music has produced and released a grand total of 35 professionally-recorded singles and roughly 80 individual YouTube videos since 2011 with several more in the queue for release in the winter of 2019/2020. Expansion will become the name of the game by the early part of 2020 with plans to not only continue releasing music by memoryfield but also to increase overall studio output and possibly even fund several other musical projects as time and budget will allow.
