UPDATE - DOMINIC JONES - GUILTY PLEA

Mr Jones’ trial was due to begin today, however an urgent email was received this morning, advising the following:

The defendant has now pleaded guilty to ASSAULT BY BEATING, contrary to section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 and ATTEMPTING TO CAUSE A FEMALE UNDER 16 YEARS TO ENGAGE IN SEXUAL COMMUNICATION, contrary to section 15A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, the trial has now been cancelled and he will be sentenced on the 28th of June.

A massive well done to our very own Autumn and as always our gratitude and respect to STOP Stings for all their hard work on this and every case they work on 🖤🤍💛🧡

UPDATE - RICHARD BAUGH SMITH - SENTENCED !

Mr Baugh Smith has finally been sentenced after delays due to among various reasons, despite pleading guilty, that he was given THE OK to take a pre-planned skiing holiday abroad!

It appears he allegedly had a skiing accident on the slopes which resulted in him being hospitalised abroad, and his hearing therefore had to be re-arranged.

Please draw your own conclusions as to how and why a sexual predator of children is allowed the luxury of being able to continue with his HOLIDAY PLANS!? Shocking……

Richard Baugh Smith's hearing took place on 31st May 2024 at Grimsby Crown Court.

He pleaded guilty to the following charges:

1 Adult attempt to engage in sexual communication with a child
2 Adult attempt to engage in sexual communication with a child

SENTENCE

Richard Baugh Smith was sentenced as follows:

Committed to prison for 13 months - suspended for 18 months.

Committed to prison for 13 months concurrent - suspended for 18 months

Rehabilitation activity requirement for a maximum of 20 days
Unpaid work requirement: Carry out unpaid work for 150 hours within the next 12 months

• Order made to deprive the defendant of their rights in the defendants mobile telephone.

Notification of requirement to register with the Police:
Defendant required to register with the police in accordance with he Sexual Offences Act 2003 from 19/12/2023 for 10 Years at nominated police station.

• Sexual harm prevention order:
Sexual harm prevention order made on conviction until 31/05/2034.

Costs
The defendant was ordered to pay £156 surcharge to the court.

The case has now concluded in relation to Richard Baugh Smith.

Further to the Protecting kids Scotland sting shared earlier, a huge well done to Crystal Decoy and Silent Angels and PKS for getting this re-offending vile creature arrested. Lets hope he serves a decent sentence this time.

donald is a reoffender he was sentenced to 6 years in 2013 for the r*pe of a 12 year old little girl and 2 13 year old little girls was then to be monitored for 4 years when he got out of jail and on the register for life clearly this never stopped him as he was talking to what he thought was a 14 year old girl well done angel's especially crystal decoy amazing work as always now home till the next one
