Scott picked out a loaf of chocolate chip brioche bread at Aldi a few weeks back. I wasn't a fan. And 100% not a fan of the ingredients. He asked for it again, so I found a recipe and made it. This pumpkin bread recipe might be the best around. Only sub I made was 1 tsp more cinnamon in place of the nutmeg.

I thought this was maple syrup as I eyed it from a distance at the Alpena Market 2 weeks ago. Darkest honey I have ever seen it's different but not extremely different than my other local honey. I want to have bees one of these days!

The weather has been amazing and I look forward to the mild fall weather until December 😉 My potted plants got frosted in the past week and were looking bad so it was time to cut everything back but this dill and parsley I started from seed in August I decided to repot and see how they do inside. I may need a grow light tho, any suggestions? Looking forward to turning those beets into a jar a pickled beets with onions. This weekend I plant to harvest my horseradish So I can plant my 60 cloves of garlic to bed for the winter.
