After watching this interview, I have learned a lot from her story and also about life. It's true that the world does not revolve solely around us, focusing on our problems. Indeed, people may talk about you for a short time, but eventually, they move on to face their own lives.

I have learned not to be so self-centered. Such behavior can either melt you or tear you apart. People may talk behind your back, labeling you with everything they can, but at the end of the day, only you can fix yourself, fight for yourself, and rise above the challenges life throws your way.

Pain is a part of healing. It makes us stronger and molds us into better versions of ourselves. Let's break the stigma surrounding mental health!

Sometimes, we feel like no one hears us, loves us, or understands us. But all we need is to be open and appreciate the small gestures of emotional support from others.

Help isn't measured solely in financial terms; there are various forms of assistance we should be appreciative and open to.

It's somewhat connected to my experience but not entirely about me.

So here's my thought after watching Ms. Ai-ai delas Alas' interview with Julius Babao. I'll summarize it to make it easier. I've proven over time that when you no longer have any use to a person or even an organization, you're considered trash. They don't even see the contributions you've made to their growth, whether they're big or small — "still a contribution" and it counts. You matter most when you have something to offer, when they need you or see you as an asset. If you don't have anything to give or offer, you mean nothing to them. Everything suddenly becomes worthless to them, and you're discarded.

This realization shows how we often judge people and their value based on what they can do for us right now. It's sad because it means our true worth can be overlooked unless we're actively useful to others. This happens in relationships and workplaces alike. People's contributions, no matter how big, can be ignored once they don't fit the current needs.

Looking at Ai-ai delas Alas' insights, it's clear that society and organizations often prioritize immediate usefulness over long-term potential or past achievements. This mindset not only undervalues individuals but also hurts the collective benefit of having diverse skills and working together over time.

It makes us wonder: should our value only be about what we can do for others at this moment, or is there more to us — like our experiences, ideas, and commitment over time?

Overall, the interview reminds us to rethink how we judge people's value. We should appreciate everyone's contributions, not just when it's easy or convenient, but as a crucial part of building real growth and respect among people.
