Local Music On Airwaves This is the time to overhaul our radio stations! Let's get more local music on radio! 80% local music, 20% everything else! Why is that?!

I have seen and heard beautiful and wonderful music from our own local musicians via CDs, MP3s, concert and local gigs. And one thing that bothers me is that I've never heard them playing on radio! We are at the generation where there are top quality singer/songwriters and bands in Singapore and they don't get a chance to get their material on radio. en! This is the time to change the concept of radio! We need more local music to be aired and tone down the music from abroad! So the idea of airing 80% of local music and 20% everything else is not an impossible dream! So like this page and we can make this as a petition to radio giants that we should GO LOCAL! The voices of all ex-radio listeners, and local musicians alike shall be heard!!
