US rapper and actor DMX is in serious condition in hospital following a heart attack, says his lawyer Murray Richman.

Mr Richman told US media he didn't know whether the heart attack was brought on by a drug overdose, as reported by TMZ .

DMX has publicly battled substance abuse for years, and spent several periods in rehab.

He is a hip-hop icon, and has collaborated with artists including JAY-Z, Ja Rule, Eve and LL Cool J as well as appearing in films.

The 50-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was taken to hospital in White Plains, New York late on Friday evening, Mr Richman said, where he is surrounded by his family.

"He was on life support," the lawyer said. "He's been taken off of life support. He is breathing on his own but there is a little brain activity."

In 2018 he made headlines by playing one of his own songs to a judge in court when he was facing charges of tax fraud. After listening to the song, the judge said DMX was a "good man" and gave him one year in prison.

In 2016 he stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated in a hotel car park in New York state.

DMX has a career spanning more than 20 years, and as well as music, he has appeared in films including Cradle 2 the Grave and Romeo Must Die, both starring Jet Li.

Last confirmed sightings of him were on Monday 22nd March boarding the 23 bus in Ladbroke Grove, then Tuesday 23rd March he took a taxi from the W2 area of London to a residential street in Loughton, Essex then a CCTV capture of him walking alone on Smarts Lane, Loughton towards Epping Forest at 00.39hrs.

Further enquires have established that Richard then took a taxi journey from the W2 area of London to a residential street in Loughton, Essex. He was captured on CCTV walking alone on Smarts Lane, Loughton towards Epping Forest at 00:39hrs on Tuesday, 23 March.

Detectives are working around the clock to trace his next steps after this sighting and have begun searches in and around the forest as well as carrying out door to door enquiries.

They are also working alongside specialist search teams and colleagues from Essex Police.

Detective Chief Inspector Nicki Beecher, from the from the Met’s Area West Public Protection Unit, said: “It has now been nine days since Richard was last seen in person and we remain as committed as ever to locating him and bringing him home to his family.

“Our officers are working extremely hard to piece together the facts in order to build a picture of Richard’s movements on the evening of Monday, 22 March.

“Latest information suggests he was last seen in Loughton in Essex and we are now focusing our attention here with specialist search officers from across the Met brought in to assist.

“Our enquiries also continue in the Ladbroke Grove, W10 area where local officers have been carrying out search patrols and also community patrols to gather information from local residents.

“I would once again like to renew our appeal to the public for any information which may assist with our enquiries. If you may have seen Richard - particularly in the Loughton area - or have any information at all, please contact police.”

Nike is not feeling them Lil Nas X “Satan Shoes.”👀 and we don't blame them.

According to reports, Nike is suing MSCHF Product studio the company that collaborated with Lil Nas X to modify the shoe.
The sports brand feels the company is tricking consumers into thinking it approved the Satan-themed shoes, (which did think that) but Nike insists it didn't authorize it and "is in no way connected with this project."

Nike is suing MSCHF for trademark infringement because of their Swoosh logo that is still featured on X's shoes. They also wants damages, and for the judge to block all sales of the Satan Shoe.

Burglars seem to have gotten away with some of 's belongings after robbing her storage units with some of her belongings out in Los Angeles.

, reports that law enforcement sources say three storage units in Los Angeles filled with Beyoncé's belongings were hit by burglars twice earlier this month. The units were reportedly rented out by her production company .

However, the site reports that the items that were taken during the first robbery belonged to Beyoncé. The burglars reportedly came back within a week and robbed three storage units within the same facility. Among the items taken were toys, handbags, and even photos that belong to Beyoncé's stylist.

Rapper released the music video for his song “ ” on March 25, 2021, and the internet took note. The video features the musician, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, seducing Satan and stealing his horns.

Shortly after, viral company MSCHF announced via the website satan.shoes that it would be offering infernal Nike sneakers. According to the website, the shoes will contain a drop of human blood mixed with ink in the sole and only 666 pairs will be made available.

Because the shoes in question are 97s, readers asked Snopes whether the brand Nike was partnering with Lil Nas X to create the Satan shoes. “ did not release nor design these shoes,” a spokesperson for Nike told us in an email.

According to a January 2020 profile published by Business Insider, the seller of the Satan shoes, MSCHF, has become known for “creating some of the most absurd, cynical, and viral projects and products that have spread across the internet.” Business Insider described MSCHF as a “seven-person company” that has made products that “range from an astrology-based stock trading app, to a toaster-shaped bathbomb, to Holy Water-filled sneakers.”

Indeed, while internet users can locate “Satan shoes” at satan.shoes, they can also find “Jesus shoes” at jesus.shoes (but those are sold out).

MSCHF founding team member Daniel Greenberg told Snopes in an email that the “Satan shoes” leaked early on Twitter but won’t be available until 11 a.m. on March 29. He added that Lil Nas X did indeed collaborate with MSCHF on the product and that the blood in the shoes comes courtesy of the MSCHF team.

Greenberg explained that MSCHF buys the shoes from Nike, then MSCHF artists make their own creative modifications before selling them.

The "Kill The Bill" protest started as a non-violent demonstration in the city centre of Bristol, on Sunday, against the government's plans to increase powers for dealing with peaceful protests.
The home secretary has condemned the demonstration which turned violent on Sunday night, and resulted in officers being injured and police vehicles set on fire.

The adviser said Mr Trump had already had "high-powered meetings" with various teams regarding the venture at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

"Numerous companies" had already approached the former president, Mr Miller said.

"This new platform is going to be big," he added, predicting that Mr Trump would draw "tens of millions of people".

The drive across Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and Clarence House will see officials speak to various individuals and organisations about how to improve representation. It will also see a new drive to improve its approach to the disabled, gay, trans and ethnic minority communities.

In a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex suggested the Firm had not protected Meghan from racist coverage in the press and one unnamed member of the Royal Family had asked about their then unborn son Archie’s likely skin colour.

In a response to the interview, Buckingham Palace said in a statement that the racial issues raised were ‘concerning’. It added that some ‘recollections may vary’.

Prince William later commented: ‘We are very much not a racist family.’

A Royal source told the paper: ‘This is an issue which has been taken very seriously across the Households.

‘We have the policies, procedures and programmes in place but we haven’t seen the progress we would like and accept more needs to be done. We can always improve.

‘We are not afraid to look at new ways of approaching it. The work to do this has been under way for some time now and comes with the full support of the family.’

Buckingham Palace say moves on the issue have been ongoing for some time but declined to comment on Sunday, when contacted by Metro.co.uk.
