About Us
The idea for Helpful Humans came out of my first trip to Ojai in late spring 2016, where I met Ted Lennon. Seeing how Ted approached his community, the surrounding landscape, his art and all that Ojai represented for him really inspired me. That trip moved me to figure out how I could better support artists who are passionate about their communities, lifestyle and environment in a different way. After seeing the devastation that would follow a year later to such an amazing place, it made sense that our first project would be a compilation to help support and give back to the community of Ojai. We are grateful to all the artists who have contributed their time, art and music to this cause, and we look forward to more exciting releases in the future.
