Our new episode is out. We talk about Will Smith in general and then take a look at "Wild Wild West." Is it the disastrously bad film history remembers it as? What is its bigger legacy, the song or the Rodeo Burger? And what is the deal with Capt. James West's water tank apartment?

We discussed "Twister" (1996) on this one. Plus, we talked about starting a Nickelback/Creed cover band called Greed, getting swindled into buying an expensive vacuum that is too heavy to use, how director Jan De Bont once got his scalp bitten off by a lion, and the sacrifices we make for art. Enjoy our sacrifice for this art.

‎Show Load Bearing Beams, Ep 75. Twister - Apr 16, 2021

On our latest podcast, we discussed "Weekend at Bernie's" and how well it holds up in these enlightened and evolved times (Pretty well, actually!). Like WandaVision, this is a movie about the glitches in a computer simulation that one can sometimes see—the processing power of the computer is only such that it will render what's in your scope of vision, and it'll fill in the rest as necessary. That's what the human brain does, too. So, you see a guy on a sofa, and you assume, "not a dead guy," even if the guy is, in fact, dead. That's what this movie's about.

Mondays, am I right? Drown your blues in this delightful new episode in which we talk about a bunch of assorted nonsense, including:

-Waterparks
-Who hosts Load Bearing Beams?
-Is talking about food interesting?
-Autism
-Should Laci like Foo Fighters?
-The TV show The Crown
-The merits of a system of government wherein the head of state and head of government are separated

This one’s a jazz set, a lazy river. Let the conversation take you where it’s gonna take you, ya know?
