About us
In simple words, we are an experimental record label, an artist management firm and event designers. We took off in Oct 2009 and have certainly taken our own sweet time in getting where we are; which is a good place to be at, if you have a look through our perspective. Record Label
As a record lab

el, we are heavily interested in collaborations. Everyone’s doing it and if you aren’t, then you should. Collaborations not just between musicians, but also between contrasting cultures, styles, genres, syncopations and idiosyncrasies. We are talking of setting the stage for music without boundaries; a jazz song with lots of blues, traditional sounds with a modern take, a system where everything works on a collective level – that of collaborations. Events and Bookings (Corporate and Live)
We have a network of over 200 artists across the world, ranging from classical Ustads to Afro Jazz singers; people from every walk of life. This enables us to keep a finger on the global pulse, which in turn helps the artists in getting the right people to collaborate with. Through an extensive network like ours, you can count on us for designing interesting acts for you. Be it fusion, crossover, world music, or basically anything that sits well with our theme; we will be more than happy to help. Apart from that, we are working on a number of events, mainly Open Ear Music Festival, which is a prime property for us at Inroom Records. More on that soon! Artist Management
As an artist management firm, we are interested in only serious musicians and even then, only those who gel with our philosophies. All our artists are serial collaborators, with each as distinct as a fingerprint, on every level. Having said that, we are not just here to get you shows, we also handle Marketing and PR, helping you connect with other artists, suchlike. On our list so far:

Only in India

1. DubFX (Australia / Italy)
He is one of the rising stars of today. Essentially a Beatboxer, he is more of a street performer. Making use of loopers and voice processors, he can make music all by himself. Right now in Europe on his Cause & FX tour, he will soon be in India later this year. Music: www.myspace.com/dubafex

2. Dub Mafia (UK)
Dub Mafia are an explosive new dub heavy live drum and bass band from Bristol who have been taking the UK and Europe by surprise, with a unique combination of talented musicians forming a live dance music sensation. Bringing a great vibe is what its all about for the Dub Mafia collective. The Band consists of Eva Lazarus on vocals with her rich diverse tones and her original melodies, Snafu the scratch master, Maf on guitar, Aron synths, Flash on bass, Drew on the drums and Jago on percussion. The band have just finished there first European tour and are hitting the UK festival scene in a big way this summer. Dub Mafia are set for big things. http://www.myspace.com/officialdubmafia

3. Snareophobe (UK)
The project initially started as an experiment into the deeper side of bass music, spiralling into a live two man Mashup of sub-low frequencies, diverse drum patterns and dubbed out atmospherics. Taking influences from Jungle, Hip-hop, Garage, Break beat, Dubstep and Drum & Bass; the Snareophobe live set evolved. Performances consist of a hyper DJ vs. Laptop sound clash - mixing up heavyweight basslines, samples, loops & fx; mashing up their own tracks over 4 channels and remixing tracks on the fly. Often joined on stage by Dub FX, Lil’ Rhys & Mr Woodnote; layers of twisted, electronic music & vocal FX come as standard! Music

4. Mr. Woodnote & Lil Rhys (UK / Australia)
Mr. Woodnote & Lil Rhys are two of the most notorious buskers Bristol has ever produced. After getting shut down on the street by police all over Europe they are back in Bristol to finish their new album Modus Operandi. Originating from Australia, Mr. Woodnote creates his bouncy beats, funky horn lines and fat bass lines all live on the spot with the aid of a loop station and of course his artistry with a saxophone and as a human beat boxer. Bristol's own Lil Rhys, a most formidable MC, brings the audience together and the party to life, a show not to be missed
