Today marks a significant moment as the World Roma Federation presents a profound narrative of the Roma experience during the Holocaust. Our latest publication unveils the harrowing yet resilient journey of our Roma brethren in the death camps, offering a window into their enduring spirit.

This book not only narrates a tale of past sufferings but also serves as a bridge to understanding and empathy in our contemporary world, where prejudices and underestimation of our capabilities still persist. We, the Roma, share the same human essence as everyone else, flesh and blood, emotions and dreams.

As we approach the 80th anniversary of the Holocaust, its shadow continues to impact the lives of the Roma community. However, it is through unity, advocacy for our rights, and striving for equality that we can overcome the remnants of this tragic past.
