Three central principles set Latin Dance Magazine apart: A commitment to visual genius, investment in inspirational storytelling that places Latin Style Dance at the center of our culture, and a selective editorial eye, with a fresh and edgy tone. For the men and women who grew up in Latin America, dancing on the toes of their elders, to the rhythms of cow bells, tamers, guitars, and bongos, and f
or everyone outside Latin America who grew up with a dream to dance like the stars. Our goal is to provide a quality publication, both digital and print, targeted at all levels of dance. Latin Dance Magazine will be a resource used to bring our dancing community together, help organize our ideas and events, to share our stories and passions, promote dance around the globe, and to leverage our experience and the love of 'Latin Dance'. Month after month, Latin Dance Magazine will provide guidance to those aspiring to become more than a novice dancer. Each issue will include tips, tricks, and styling advice. We will also provide professional guidance and techniques on how to keep you healthy through proper strength training, nutrition, and rehabilitation. Each week I see eager new faces strolling into our dance studios, and newcomers giving the local Latin dance club a try. I see a sense of freshness, hesitance and confusion, all pinned up and ready to burst. Latin Dance Magazine will be your road map to inspiration. It will take you from a bright eyed clumsy beginner, to a savvy social dancer, or even a world champion, competing on stages across the globe, or cast with the next Broadway production. It’s your journey, and Latin Dance Magazine is now giving you a choice, to make it what you WILL! Most earnestly, our hope is that content between these pages light your inner fire, by building an ongoing love of Latin dance, its musical rhythms, and the amazing people who have touched our life in so many fantastic ways. Dedicated to our Mentors! Sincerely,
