🦃 Howdy, Turkeys! Don't gobble til ya wobble! But do hope you get plenty of good chow! Will y'all be having Turkey or something else?
We're thankful for our community of aviators and crew who choose to hang out with us! 😎 Happy Thanksgiving!
PS Had fun making this. Poor Mo is clearly experiencing a LOT of turbulence. 😆

Dude! Where's My EyePro!? %@$*#!
😂 The other day we asked about the strangest things folks had seen their pax do on or near helicopters. Pretty sure just won the internet with his humorous story and his video to back it up! 🤣
Josh sends:
Re-enlistment morale flight at NTC — the Soldier in the video mentioned he had a tendency to pass out on “rides,” so I opted to place him between people on the back wall.
I more or less convinced him he’d be fine jumping on, nothing would happen to him.
Throughout the various cyclic climbs and dive recoveries his eyepro got sucked off of his face.
I remember being enlisted and felt bad when he lost his eyepro, so I got him a new set and found the building they were staying in.
...
The sound that kid's EyePro makes whooshing off his face kind of makes it. 😂
Pretty awesome story and thanks for paying it forward to that troop! 🏆 Thanks for sharing, Josh! You made our day with that one! 😎

Hmm. 🤔 Well 3 outta four ain’t bad!? This is what Facebook thinks we want to see. 🤣
Our apologies to the lady aviators out there!! These “pilots only like thick gals and Chevy trucks” stereotypes are disgusting! 😂

Sure glad the pilot got out safely, but isn't it so odd that apparently the transponder also malfunctioned? 🤔 Bad timing. At least they are starting to find some clues to the mystery of the disappearing jet. 👀

Officials find debris from the F-35 that apparently crashed in South Carolina after the pilot ejected.
The crash site for a stealth fighter jet that has been declared “missing” was located Monday in rural South Carolina after the military asked the public for help finding an aircraft built to elude detection.
The debris field was discovered in Williamsburg County, about two hours northeast of Joint Base Charleston. Residents were asked to avoid the area.
“The mishap is currently under investigation, and we are unable to provide additional details to preserve the integrity of the investigative process,” the Marine Corps said on Monday night.
Gen. Eric Smith, the acting commandant of the Marine Corps, ordered a stand-down while officials searched for the missing FB-35B Lightning II.
It’s the third Class-A mishap over the past 6 weeks including a crash of a V-22B Osprey in Australia which killed 3, and a pilot was killed in a jet crash near a San Diego.
A Marine with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, said the details of what prompted the pilot to eject from the aircraft Sunday were under investigation.
Based on the missing plane’s location and trajectory, the search was initially focused on Lake Moultrie and Lake Marion, said Senior Master Sgt. Heather Stanton at Joint Base Charleston. Both lakes are north of North Charleston.
A South Carolina Law Enforcement Division helicopter joined the search after some bad weather cleared in the area, Stanton said. Military officials appealed in online posts Sunday for any help from the public in locating the aircraft.
The pilot of a second F-35 returned safely to Joint Base Charleston, Salinas said.
The planes and pilots were with the Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 501 with the 2nd Mar

🇺🇸 In case y’all were wondering… We want to avoid throwing any shade at anyone else during this surreal transition time where the name of a place we love so well is being changed.
A lot of people have very strong opinions on this rather emotionally charged subject, and we feel like folks are entitled to their opinions for or against.
But #MoRucker is how we started this page and we feel “Mo Rucker” encapsulates our sense of community here and best captures the nostalgia of our shared experiences of living and working and learning at Mother Rucker.
Perhaps we’re old school. Perhaps we will no longer be relevant — so be it.
We’ve never attempted to be associated with the actual army installation which is why we called ourselves “Mo” not “Fort.”
And on some level it would probably be inappropriate to change our name to something that might hijack the honors attributed to the great Mike Novosel. 🎖️ ⭐️ 🎖️
So, this is a way for us to further highlight the distinction between a small online community and a real post in a way that is hopefully meaningful to those who choose to be here. 😎
We will continue to honor the army aviation community in ways we feel are most appropriate.
Much love to the Novosel family on this well-deserved honor. 🫡
