I swear that we still plan to make new episodes of the GADcast and GADcast Radio..... sometime. Jay and I even talked about it the other day.... BUT! I wanna recommend this fantastic new podcast made by our longtime friends Aaron and Ben! This show covers much of the same scene stuff but from different angles and perspectives. And they have better sound than us! Assuming we ever make new episodes ourselves, I think we could be an okay companion with their show.

Great people who've done so much great work! Thank you!!

What started as a vague idea for an alternative radio station and a hand drawn T-Shirt became a reality 7 years ago when a couple friends began recording local musicians in their basement. Over the years Spice Radio has interviewed musicians from all over the world, hosted multiple local music festivals and supported the growth of some of the very best talent in the Tennessee Valley.

At this time the board of Spice Radio has decided to stop production of new live events, interviews and scheduling streams on location. We want to thank the many volunteers and hundreds of supporters who have engaged with our live shows and supported our non-profit sister organizations for so long. After many years of great memories it's time for our core staff to move on to some exciting new places and projects.

In a way the Spice Radio Board feels we have achieved our goals of bringing great original content to the valley with groups like Huntsville Music Scene, The Venue Group of Orion Amphitheater, WLRH and NASO doing so much to bring local music to hundreds of new and veteran music fans. We intend to keep all of our past content up for the foreseeable future including our podcasts, Facebook video and Youtube videos.
