⚠️‼️Clarksdale - Coahoma County Residents ⚠️‼️

If Walmart were to leave Clarksdale today our entire county would be dead. That’s why we’ve partnered with Michelle Obama’s nonprofit “Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA)” to center community voices going forward. Over the next 5 years, PHA will dedicate hundreds of thousands of dollars towards strengthening the food environment in the MS Delta and we need your help!

Please take this 8-10 minute survey below to aid local grocery retailers, farmers, food producers, developers, and Partnership for a Healthier America in better serving the Clarksdale-Coahoma County area. Your input goes to Revitalizing All of Clarksdale from the ground up ⬆️

Clarksdale, MS residents are strongly encouraged to fill out this survey to help inform us on how our food systems need to change in order to encourage healthier lifestyles. Nutrition is the basis of quality of life for every individual. Food insecurity, child hunger and food access are issues in the Delta that contribute significantly to poor generational health and low quality living.

Meet AYLF Delta

The Aspen Young Leader Fellowship DELTA cohort, a group of teens from Mississippi & Arkansas Delta decided that in order for our community to rise to its fullest socioeconomic potential, we must help activate the youth to create that change. For generations the Delta has been a melting pot of social injustice: segregation, poor education and economic inequality. This generation is reclaiming and undoing the damage of that narrative. We have the power to make this region whatever we want it to be, if we do it now and if we do it together.
