Bands partner with the label , You get to keep all the right to your music and I don't do contract! It is more of an hand shake and mutual trust type business this way if a better deal comes along later you guys are not stuck in a deal you can't get out of. all though I do ask that you let me know, and you don't let other labels release something that was released on Necrotic, The reason for this

is I do not want to be paying to promote a release that people my end up just buying from someone else. I use a print on demand type company to Manufacture CDs and Vinyl so I can order small batches of cds as often as I want. the band can order as many copies and as often as they need at cost too, I do not put any Mark ups on the bands price. (it's about $1.90 a cd plus shipping), you can sell the cds at your shows and through your pages and you keep all your profits. you can also keep your bandcamp page and sell through it both digital and cd sales your to keep 100%. Necrotic will promote the release as best I can afford at the time, I send out promos to magazines, zines, and youtubers kind of an old school underground ways. I print flyers and other promotional stuff and send snail mail all over the world. and sometimes I take ad.s out in print 'zines. I also set up some small distribution deal to get the cds put in underground distro.s I also sell through my pages, I don't really make too much money off any bands, normally I just shoot for braking even and trying to help the bands to the best of my abilities. If for some reason I sell a ton of cds (doubtful but always possible ) and I have all the money I invest back and start making some good profits at that time I would split the profits with the band. Bands generally do best by selling on there own at shows and through streaming or digital. The way we work best is when the bands also keep up self promotions the harder the bands work the harder and more money I tend to spend to help them. I've had bands that do no self promotion and wonder why I don't promote them as well as other bands, this is why. I try to be as fair and honest as possible about everything. If you decide to higher a P.R. company to help with extra promotions you can do so, I use some smaller P.R. people to help push releases and it does seem to help, If you get a big P.R. company to push your sales and tours. this is not something you have to do, it's just an option and I can help you find one in your budget if you decide you want to. If you have any questions feel free to ask I'm sure I forgot some stuff.
