It's Negroni Week! The week seems to wander around from year to year, but Imbibe Magazine has planted it to be right now.
Unfortunately, they also seem to be in a cocktail reality distortion field: as much as we'd love to be in a world where you could order a Negroni without being stared at, we dare any writer from this magazine to venture 5 miles beyond hipsterland and order one at a restaurant with confidence. You'll likely get stared at by your pimple-faced waiter as you explain to him that he can tell the bartender that the recipe is on the side of the Campari bottle. Likely responses are, (1) "Can you spell
'negron...' what's that again?", (2) "the Bacardi bottle?", or (3) "I don't think we have that."
