Be a friend with faith, not a friend with criticism, a friend with judgment, a friend with jealousy. There’s enough of that in the world. Be a lifter, be an encourager. Let them borrow your faith while they don’t have any faith. Tell them that you’re praying for them, that you love them, that you believe in them. Your faith can be what lights their passion, your faith can be what breaks their addiction, your faith can be what God uses to propel them into their destiny.

We fight too many battles that don’t matter. “Well, they’re talking about me; I’m going to set them straight.” When you get them fixed, somebody else will start talking. Here’s what I’ve learned, nobody talks about people that aren’t doing anything. Nobody tries to discredit someone that has no influence. Take it as a compliment. The reason they’re talking is because you’re a difference maker, you’re a world changer. They can see your influence, your gifts, and the favor on your life. The brighter the light, the more the heat. The higher you go the more people can see you.

You may have mishandled some things. You think, “If I could do it over, I would make better choices. I’d treat my spouse better. I’d be more focused. I wouldn’t let my emotions cause me to throw down the sacred in my life.” You don’t have to live in regrets. God’s going to give you another chance: another chance for that relationship to flourish, another chance to accomplish the dream, another chance to answer the call on your life. It’s not too late. You may have missed it the other times. That’s okay. He’s calling back today..

People may not recognize you yet: your boss doesn’t give you credit, relatives discount you and think you don’t have much to offer. You may be overlooked now, but the time is coming when you’re going to be noticed. People are going to recognize your value, your gifts, your talents. God is going to cause you to stand out. You’re going to go from being unnoticed to being in charge, from being not recognized to being the favorite. You couldn’t have made it happen on your own. That’s the blessing on your life.

God said He will never let you face anything that you can’t handle. He will always give you the grace, the strength, the faith for what comes your way. But if you’re believing those lies that it’s too much, you’re dwelling on weak, limiting, can’t do it thoughts, then you’re going to feel overwhelmed, and you’ll get stuck where you are. Pay attention to what’s going on in your mind.
