I said some words a few days ago on a stage. Someone in the audience said they might be good to be heard today. I talked about how we all mother, whatever that might look like for you. I talked about how mothering is an elastic term, and how its permutations stretch from here to the moon. 🌙 And so, to today. Mother's Day. Maybe it'll be joyful, or perhaps bittersweet, maybe it's ordinary or extraordinary, maybe it's askew at best, upside down at worst. Have a day where you're good to yourself, whatever it might mean to you right now. We are all mother. Salima x
