Fresh Kicks that I’ve been hoarding in the closet since 2012 🤣😆😂
I’m a very blessed man.
I always have shoes & clothes NWT waiting for me when I need them.
It drives my wife crazy, but I’ve been like this forever.
PSA :
Sneakers don’t do so well being stored in the Original paper.
It becomes acidic and can ruin them.
Although these weren’t in any sunlight or moisture, some parts of the midsole got yellowed.
I had to hit them up with peroxide & baking soda to clean them off.
Not an easy task. 🤮
I finally gave up and touched them up with white shoe polish.
Small problems in comparison to some.
Grateful for all of my blessings.

I built this gorgeous Seiko, Yachtmaster Mod at

Skyrim Wrist Studio, 427 Amherst St, Unit 6, Nashua, New Hampshire.
Seiko mods, short for Seiko modifications, refer to the practice of altering Seiko watches with aftermarket parts to create unique, customized timepieces. This trend has gained immense popularity among watch enthusiasts due to Seiko’s robust designs and the ease with which their watches can be modified.
This hobby is the equivalent to hot rodding cars back in the 50’s, but with timepieces.
I was fortunate to receive a one on one masterclass on my first ever build from
Sean & Cam, the owners of a one of a kind D.I.Y. Workshop just miles North of Boston, Ma.
I believe this craze began in Japan, Home of Seiko, But has exploded all over the world.
The heart of any mechanical watch is the Movement and the standard for “Modding” is the The NH35A, a workhorse known for its accuracy and dependability, traits that has perfected over decades of watchmaking expertise.
The watches are then paired with your choice of case made of luxurious 904L stainless steel (same as Rolex), your choice of ceramic bezel
Sapphire glass, which is renowned for scratch and wear-resistance.
Water Resistant to 200M and includes a Screw-down crown for enhanced water resistance.
Its hands, which are also of your choice of style & color are C3 luminous stainless steel with exceptional visibility in low light conditions.
Finally you can chose from hundreds of different bracelets or straps.
I went with a very traditional pairing that resembles one of my favorite “Luxury” watches with a silver face, bezel and White Hour and Minute hands and a matching turquoise seconds hand that sweeps just like the big boys.
I finished it off with a brushed stainless steel Oyster Bracelet.
The beauty of modded watches is that the final product isn’t an imposter or knock off, branded with a phony logo.
It’s 1 of a kind.
Plain & simple, Seiko Mods are a fun and inexpensive way to customize a timepiece that will look & run beautifully as long as it’s cared for properly.
