Rambutan Productions did programming content for Kalaingar TV and Polimer Channel of India in the genres of Variety and infotainment. Whilst people “queue” to get a slot on Deepavali day, Kalaingar TV OFFERED Rambutan Productions a slot on prime time on Deepavali day. “Goa Kondaattam” on Kalaingar and “Aattam Paattam Kondaattam” on Polimer Channel, both saw good TRP ratings. “Aattam Paattam Kondaa
ttam” was subsequently bought by a Singapore channel and rum at prime time in Singapore. Rambutan Productions is a member of the South India Producer’s Union. Rambutan Productions then ventured into Singapore under the name of Rambutan Media Works in 2010. In a short span of 2 years, Rambutan Media Works did programming content in the genres of info-ed and variety. Rambutan Media Works has gotten accolades from none other than the current Singapore’s Minister for Law and Foreign Affairs Mr. Rambutan Media Works has now expended to Malaysia under the banner of 24FRAMES Sdn Bhd with a Movie venture called “Kathalaanain” scheduled to release in theatre in Malaysia in July 2012. Its next venture is already in the pipeline called “Revathy”, a tie-up with the Singapore Cancer Society. We are a regional company with the ability to identify the pulse of the audience and cater exclusively for the local markets.
