Hello and a warm welcome to the last day or day 9 of this year's Navratri series dedicated to the "NAVNIDHIS" of KUBERA.

Shree Kuber Chalisa is one of the simplest and the best devotional hymns to glorify him. Although there are specific Vedic mantras including the Beeja or the seed mantra to invoke the grace of Lord Kubera. Kuber Chalisa contains 40 hymns along with dohas. The core benefits of chanting the Kuber Chalisa are peace, prosperity and favorable circumstances to generate wealth.

Day 9 is dedicated to"Kharva Nidhi": Cups/Vessels baked in fire

खर्व निधि
खर्व निधि को मिश्रत निधि कहते हैं। नाम के अनुरुप ही इस निधि से संपन्न व्यक्ति अन्य 8 निधियों का सम्मिश्रण होती है। इस निधि से संपन्न व्यक्ति को मिश्रित स्वभाव का कहा गया है। उसके कार्यों और स्वभाव के बारे में भविष्यवाणी नहीं की जा सकती। माना जाता है कि इस निधि को प्राप्त व्यक्ति विकलांग व घमंडी होता हैं, यह मौके मिलने पर दूसरों का धन भी सुख भी छीन सकता है।

Hello and a warm welcome to day 8 of Navratri series dedicated to the "NAVNIDHIS" of KUBERA.

Kubera is considered as the king of "Yakshas". He is the treasurer of gods. It is believed that he had two wives Riddhi and Nidhi. Riddhi is the goddess of Growth and Nidhi is the goddess of Accumulation.

Day 8 is dedicated to"Shankha Nidhi": Conch shell

शंख निधि
शंख निधि को प्राप्त व्यक्ति स्वयं की ही चिंता और स्वयं के ही भोग की इच्छा करता है। वह कमाता तो बहुत है, लेकिन उसके परिवार वाले गरीबी में ही जीते हैं। ऐसा व्यक्ति धन का उपयोग स्वयं के सुख-भोग के लिए करता है, जिससे उसका परिवार गरीबी में जीवन गुजारता है।

Hello and a warm welcome to day 7 of Navratri series dedicated to the "NAVNIDHIS" of KUBERA.

Kubera is also deputed as Dikpala and Lokpalas (custodians of directions). He has been accorded exclusive authority over the north direction (uttar disha). On Dhanteras during Diwali, Kubera is worshipped with Goddess Lakshmi as it is known to bless one with wealth and prosperity.

Day 7 is dedicated to"Kachchapa Nidhi": Tortoise

कच्छप निधि
कच्छप निधि का साधक अपनी संपत्ति को छुपाकर रखता है। न तो स्वयं उसका उपयोग करता है, न करने देता है। वह सांप की तरह उसकी रक्षा करता है। ऐसे व्यक्ति धन होते हुए भी उसका उपभोग नहीं कर पाता है।

Another popular attribute to Kubera is that he gave a loan to Lord Venketeswara of Tirupathi for his marriage with Goddess Padmavati, and the lord requested his devotees to donate liberally to repay his loan to Kubera.

Day 6 is dedicated to"Makar Nidhi": Alligator

मकर निधि
मकर निधि को तामसी निधि कहा गया है। इस निधि से संपन्न साधक अस्त्र और शस्त्र को संग्रह करने वाला होता है। ऐसे व्यक्ति का राजा और शासन में दखल होता है। वह शत्रुओं पर भारी पड़ता है और युद्ध के लिए तैयार रहता है। इनकी मृत्यु भी अस्त्र-शस्त्र या दुर्घटना में होती है।
