ARCI MUSIC : UN NUEVO COMIENZO
La Empresa ARCI es , sin duda alguna , la guardiana de una gran parte del Patrimonio musical de Chile.
Esta compañía fundada en 1996 por Don PEDRO VALDEBENITO se forma de la unión de 4 Sellos Discográficos históricos de nuestro país : ALBA - RCA - COLORADO e IRT, de ahí el nombre ARCI , los que con su trabajo lograron registrar para la posteridad a Artistas y albumes tan valiosos como el debut de LOS JAIVAS , el inigualable LAS ULTIMAS COMPOSICIONES DE VIOLETA PARRA , y un importante catálogo de obras clave en las carreras de artistas tan notables como MARGOT LOYOLA, TITO FERNANDEZ, LOS HERMANOS CAMPOS , LUISIN LANDAEZ, GINETTE ACEVEDO , ANTONIO PRIETO o PEDRO MESSONE.
El folklore no fue el único espacio cubierto con amplitud por el repertorio ARCI : en el mismo se encuentran también piezas fundamentales del Rock Chileno tales como LOS VIDRIOS QUEBRADOS , CONGREGACION , LOS MAC’S o LOS JOCKERS entre muchos otros.
Tampoco la Nueva Ola quedó fuera de este amplio catálogo, con representantes clásicos como BUDDY RICHARD , DANNY CHILEAN, PETER ROCK , ALAN y SUS BATES , o ANTONIO ZABALETA Y SUS ROCKETS.
