Quick heads up. City of Chico announced that final work on the SR-99 Bikeway Bridge will start Monday night, Jan. 6. This is over the intersection of East 20th Street and Highway 99 in Chico. Crews will be working on it every night through Jan. and Feb. There will be road closures. Weeknights from 8pm-4am and week-end nights from 8pm-7am, the highway 99 northbound on and off ramps will be closed. Also, the east and westbound intersection of 20th street at the highway 99 ramps will be closed. Local detours will be in place.
