💖It’s February - American Heart Month, a time when all people are encouraged to focus on cardiovascular health.
During American Heart Month, the American Heart Association and other organizations emphasize the importance of heart health, the need for more research and efforts to ensure that millions of people live longer and healthier.
February 7-14 is specific to a focus on Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week.
Today Studios at Fischer is recognizing American Heart Month and honoring our own Clara Louise Flynn, who was born on November 14, 2023, with several complex congenital heart defects. Prenatal detection provided the opportunity to plan ahead for appropriate delivery and immediate initiation in the correct management of Clara’s condition. With the support of skilled surgeons and continual extraordinary care and supervision, Clara is on the road to recovery.
Things have come a long way in our ability to treat critical congenital heart conditions and everyday continued research is breaking boundaries with new methods and treatments in helping children born with complex congenital heart defects.
Clara is our miracle baby.
