Based out of Schull, Ireland, Whisperin' and Hollerin' is an online music magazine, dedicated to discovering, promoting and talking about good music of all genres and styles. Founded by Tim Peacock (formerly of "Sounds" magazine) the site is regularly updated by contributers posted as far afield as Leeds, Nottingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, New York, Nashville, Prague, Paris and Tokyo, to name but a

few. A real community for music lovers, W&H is also open for visitors to register and post their own reviews.

Our Story

Based out of Schull, Co. Cork, Ireland, Whisperin' and Hollerin' is an online music magazine, dedicated to discovering, promoting and talking about music of all genres and styles. The artists we cover range from the mainstream to the wilfully obscure - whether it’s good and fires is up is what really matters, the rest is largely semantics. Founded by Tim Peacock (from “Record Collector” and formerly of “Sounds”) the site is regularly updated by contributors posted as far afield as Leeds, Nottingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Ireland, Italy and the USA. A real community for music lovers, W&H is also open for visitors to register and post their own reviews. At present, the website has an archive of around 14,000 reviews and interviews, which we hope will keep growing.
