Very lively bird too! She caught it twice in the house after bringing it in and then dropped it in my hands. Little fella flew off as soon as I took it outside. Off to fight another day.
I know it’s not Torvsday… but it is!
You see 4 years ago today this little angel walked in to my life. I was out in the garage doing an evening stint on the bikes and she just walked up to me, meowing, rubbing up against me, rolling on the floor, she just wanted attention. I’ve never ever had a cat react like that to me before. So… I sat down with her, she jumped on my lap and started making biscuits on my belly. That was the moment.
We’ve been together ever since 🥰

The @mtb_marathon is back up and running. I’m so so tempted to do it on one of my vintage rides. The first round is only in a few weeks time. 50km on the KHS Montana Team round the hill of central Wales… it’s doable.
Anyone else fancy the pain? (I have no idea what the route it like btw 😂)

Torvsday. Had to bloody run around the house twice chasing this bloody mouse 🤦♂️😂 She brought it in, dropped it in the lounge but managed to catch it again after a few mins and took it back outside…. Only to bring it back in, drop it and it ran in the bedroom. Took me about half hour to find it. Now help from Torvi either. 😂

Wipeout Wednesday 😂
Apparently that road was a bit slick…! Styled it out with the epic roll though 😏😅 No damage done really. A grazed knee, a couple of small holes in the jacket and a scuff on the pannier rack but that’s about it!
So this is something I’m experimenting with. Recreating the rear brake pivot for the early Proflex frames. The 753 didn’t come with one but fortunately @lee_rad had one in the spares bin. I might need another though and they’re impossible to find!
I need to clean up this model a little bit and then I’ll try a 3D print. If that works I’ll clean up the model a bit more and see where I can get it made in aluminium. A brass sleeve will be pressed in to the centre hole to finish.
