for INTENSE RAINFALL
For people in parts of Ipswich, Logan, Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley Council Areas.

INTENSE RAINFALL OBSERVED IN A THUNDERSTORM TO THE NORTH OF BOONAH.
The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 7:20 pm, a VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORM likely to produce heavy, locally intense rainfall that may lead to dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding was detected near the area between Boonah and Beaudesert and Peak Crossing.
This thunderstorm is slow moving. It is forecast to affect Beaudesert by 7:50 pm and Bundamba Lagoon and the area south of Amberley by 8:20 pm.
Another severe thunderstorm likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding was detected near Mulgowie. This thunderstorm is slow moving.
It is forecast to affect Laidley by 7:50 pm and Grandchester by 8:20 pm.
75.0 mm was recorded in 60 minutes to 7:15 pm at Coulson Crossing
